Default AKs hits on turn...

Villain 17/9/4 over 35 hands.

Could I have gotten away from this anywhere?

Wow, tough one. Seems like villian has QQ and got scared by the turn spade (although he shouldn't have been). After he raised the river I would call and not play poker for a week.

Villain has been very agressive. He would bet with any 2 cards on the flop.

Villian may be aggro postflop but he's still 17/9 and he 3-bet a (presumably tight) UTG+1 raiser with 2 other players in the pot. He doesn't have any 2 cards here, he has a big hand.

But after UTG folds you have him HU. If he's been that aggressive why play into his strength (getting more bets then he deserves when you're actually behind). Just call the flop.

That flop check-raise OOP into a guy who 3 bet pre-flop with no hand is just spewing. If you thing he will bet with nothing then calling is still correct. Turn is fine. River I have to make a crying call here but your hand is good about never unless he is a real donkey.

What range of hands do you put villain on after the pre-flop 3-bet?

You're spewing pretty much on this flop.

Also, if villain will continue betting with any two on the flop, (as you mention in a later post) you should probably include that read in your initial post. Do you remember the context of how you know that?

I saw him play 5 hands all where he was checked to and he bet out.

Thinking about it now His PF 3bet definitely says I should have only called the flop.

Say he bets the flop and I call. Do I just check/fold a turn blank? Do I have to call down after hitting the A?

I think I check/fold unless turn is A, J, T, or [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Since turn was an A I think we should check/raise, esspescially since that A gives us the chance to rep. a flush.
Fold to a 3 bet. If called bet/fold the river.
Had turn been J T or [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check/call turn rather then check/raise
