Default Top 2 pair on river

Villain kind of owns me. Even when I have position on him, it is like he is in my head or as he stands behind me and looks in my cards.
His stats VP$40 PFR7 WTSD16 WonSD65
He likes to slowplay the flop, even more when I am behind him, bc he knows I play my hands fast. He loves to CR the turn. He could be slowplaying TP and up.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 5 handed) converter

UTG ($48.3)
MP ($15)
Button ($17.08)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP posts a blind of $0.75. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG calls $0.50, MP (poster) checks, Button folds, SB (poster) completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($2.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2, UTG folds, MP folds, SB calls $2.

Turn: ($6.25) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.
I feared him slowplaying 2 pair or better and checked behind. Might even induce him to bet a weaker hand on river.
River: ($6.25) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $15, Hero?
Big overbet, what does that mean. Sure, a possible set or str8. Would he overbet 2 pair that hard? Cant tell.
Do you put him on a set or better and fold without hesitation? I was lost...

I'd call. Looks like a scare card steal to me, or he could have a weaker two pair. Hard to say unless you've seen him overbet the river with the nuts before.

what kim said is right.

I know you wanna keep the pot small, but I think a turn bet is in order anyway. He might still just call and lead out the river, but why give free cards? With accurate reads it's something different though.

He has a nine. Bet the turn unless you're very certain you can induce a sufficient river bluff. And if that's what happened... then why bother posting this?

This turn is absolutely terrible. You have to bet to protect your hand!! There are straight draws, flush draws, overcards. Im betting the pot on the turn.
