Default Did you stay in school?

Just curious what the demographic is like for people around here who regularly play 15/30 and higher..

(If you're currently a student, please select the degree you're working toward now.)

Yup, and I graduate saturday with a BS in Actuarial Science and a minor in foreign studies. Wasn't easy convincing myself to stick with it when winning $100+ an hour playing poker but I'm glad I did. My particular major really helped me in understanding many of the ideas involved in this game.

I read lots of talk on this forum about people who wan't to dropout and just play full time and I think they should really consider finishing.

Getting a piece of paper that says "I can sit bored for many hours on end and not get anything done while bsing my way along" is overrated. OTOH, it's quite useful for the all too common corporate jobs which require exactly that skill! Not so useful if you want to work for yourself though.

BS in Com. Sci. Almost went back and got a Masters and a math degree... but liked the idea of having a salary better.
