Default Re: So I\'ve been looking at my stats (short question)

One thing that stands out is raising/reraising AJ/AQ from any position.

I find that if i'm in the BB, facing a raise from any non-SB position, and i have AQ, i'm more likely to call as I will be OOP the rest of the hand and i'd like to keep the pot smaller. If i'm in position, i'll probably reraise. The problem I see with reraising AJ/AQ oop is: if they call, and you miss the flop (65% of the time, as it were), a continuation bet is now much larger (albeit more successful, as your reraise showed greater strength), and you're building a big pot without realizing where you stand. Or, if they 3-bet you preflop, then you're out of 10-12 BB's without seeing a flop.

Having just recently started playing 6-max, I already realize how huge position is in it.
