I think this is a very good idea. Making it so someone could click a link in your post and replaying the hand/comments inside of a browser. Then we could visualize the poker instead of reading hand histories.

This could be interesting, and nice to have when reading hand posts. I think just about everyone here would love you for a nice web-based hand replayer that could be easily linked in a hand post. Even so, I'd still prefer a PartyMine alternative. Especially if it could work across multiple WinXP users simultaneously and also mine different limits simultaneously.

something that could analyse your past hands in a "sklansky bucks" sort of way would be interesting. It would show at what point you were calling with/without the right odds--basically if you really are getting your money in with the best of it.

[/ QUOTE ]I can't really imagine this will be a useful tool. It sounds like it would only be used for results-oriented, whiny analysis. I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't need a tool that says "If you somehow knew Villian had KdJc, you should have raised on the flop but folded on the turn."

This looks useful to me and seems to be the exact opposite of results oriented thinking - maybe you read it wrong? It would come back and say "On hand xyz you called with a gutshot straight on the flop with only 5:1 odds"

Not sure if it would get a lot of use as some of the other suggestions though since calculating pot odds in your head as you are playing is fairly easy.

Anyways, just wanted to defend the original idea because I don't think it was a bad one and was probably misread.

I'd like a tool that identifies the actions of a person so far (or they could be manually entered). Limp re-raise pre-flop, 4 people to the flop, check the flop, e.g. The program then digs through the DB and pulls up the last 5 hands and boards on which the person did this.

How about a card tracker for stud?

Or a HUD that reads the Hand History real time, and displays opponents cards at showdown without having to look at the HH.

both have been done:

1-stud assist (just use the search in this forum....a sweet little app by a fellow poster)

2-PokerAce HUD
