Default .50/1 Blinds As8s shorthanded and shortstacked

Five handed. Effective stacks are $35-40, you have $30. Blinds are $.50/1.

You get A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] on the button. UTG (loose and pretty passive) limps, UTG+1 limps (he's a TAG, pretty standard), you make a bad play and limp. (How bad is limping here with an aggressive, semi-tight image?).

SB folds and BB checks.

Flop is 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Checked to BB who bets $3. folded to you. You raise to nine and the 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] comes on the turn. He bets $7. Now what?

He is a laggy player who loves to play all pairs and suited gappers or connectors. Since he was in BB, he could have anything. A straight is a definate possibilty, but he could be running a bluff.

I know I made things so hard by not raising preflop, correct?

limping isn't horrible
I would call the turn, if he's runnig a bluff you're ahead and he probably won't 3 barrel bluff (stop me if I'm wrong). If he's not bluffing you have plenty of outs, folding would be really bad.

PS: reload next time
