i hate the seahawks.. for what its worth

seriously, is anyone more overrated then shaun alexander?? the guy builds up crooked numbers against the likes of the 49ers, cardinals, and rams year in and year out who cant stop the run. Against teams who actually play defense he puts up average numbers. I hope Phily's D treats him like they did LT..

gl all!

if you lived and died with a particular team, and multiplied that with your lifelong hatred for another team, you could certainly relate

I try to stay away from that, since I'm betting on sports and want to evaluate dispassionately.

interesting perspective - in my world my teams come first, and then wagering on games comes second... sometimes those two meet in the middle, but not always

different strokes

I agree. I'd rather the Broncos win and me lose evry bet that weekend than the other way around. But I almost never bet on the Broncs, dont you think it would be better to just lay off eagles games beause you're so emotionaly attached?

Probably not - I don't bet on the games just because they're Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers games, and I don't bet on the Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers every game - when I see a good matchup, I bet it like any other game. Obviously I can get hype about it more than other matchups due to my ties to the city. Also, when the Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers lose, I'm emotionally distraught about it - the money factor is just another loss, same as if I bet on the Richmond Spiders and they lost - ditto for a win. I won about 6k on the Super Bowl last year taking the Eagles + the points, but I'd have given it all back for the win.... and that's the God's honest truth - it's only money.

Also I'm not saying the Eagles are a lock tonight, or whatever - but I don't like the matchup for the Seahawks... taking the Eagles +points is probably a better idea, but I had nothing else to do with $200 tonight, and I left work early to start drinking

This is always a good idea

BTW, Im on the eagles tonight also, $line and the points. Hopefuly they're done back reeling from the T.O. debacle and the loss of Donovan. I think their D will give em a good shot to win at the end of the game.

under's been beat to hell already, from 44 to 40 and falling

[/ QUOTE ]

I bet the under early today when I could still get 41. I figured the forecast would cause a big line movement. The forecast has improved, but o39.5 -102 can still be found at Pinnacle. I'm thinking over is the better side at that price/forecast.

It did, about 5 days ago. That 39.5 number is yummy though, good luck to you!
