The better solution is to store the DB on your laptop and just open it from your desktop. That's what I do. Not difficult, and cheaper too. Plus you have the added bonus of never having to synchronize.

I tried to back up my PT database onto a floppy. I beleive I tried to use a windows copy function and I got an error saying that I didn't have enough room on the cd. How do you get your database onto a cd? Will a "burner" program work? Thanks.
