Default Early look at week 2 lines

Couple of games jump out at me.

Detroit -2 at Chicago

San Diego -3 at Denver

Detroit looked good against Green Bay although that's not saying much. The Bears defnitley have a solid defense but I don't see them putting up any points.

Yeah the Chargers lost at home, but it was a nail bitter and they almost pulled it off. Now Miami managed to run 151 yard against Denver, the Chargers have a much better front line and a much better running game. This line should be -4.5 IMO. It's currently at -120 in most places and I don't expect the price to get any better.

So you put the Chargers as 8 point favorites, minor the elevation factor?

Regarding Miami against Denver, 61 of their rushing yards came from a WR. Ronnie Brown had only 57 yards on 22 carries. Denver's problem on defense was they couldn't stop the passing game. I know Champ Bailey left at one point with a strained shoulder - don't know what his status is for next week. Denver is always a different team at home though.

Thanks for the info. From the highlights I saw in the Cowboy Chargers game, the Chargers seemed like they were really pushing the passing game, with some sucess. Either way I think they'll have their way with Denver on the ground or through the air.

Detroit caught my eye on the first flash too. Chicago was outgained 2-1 by Washington this week.

The other one I liked immediately is Buffalo +2.5 from Tampa.

And they were a 4.5 favorite at home.

That wacky spread.

Antonio Gates, the key to their passing game is back on week 2 as well!
