Default Big Blind Special Gets Action

Villian is 25/7/1.5, hasn't done anything crazy silly out of line.

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Hero checks, MP3 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.25 BB

Now, I have been running nasty lately, and I wasn't sure of my play here. I guess the main street of interest is the turn. A raise would quite obviously be spewing, but should this be a fold? Thanks for any and all input.

I play it like you did. You have to call the turn raise based on your FH outs. If you are making a mistake calling the final river bet in a 13BB pot, it's certainly not a very big mistake.

You're right, I'm an idiot. Getting 12 to 1 or so, the turn is quite an easy call with 4 outs to a boat against a possible flush. So is the river call unimproved standard practice? I realize I only have to be good about 7 to 8 % of the time. What do you guys think? Is this a profitable/standard call on the end? I'm sorry if this is boring, but I've really been questioning my game lately. Once again, thanks.

Yes, you must call the turn and draw to your full house.

River call is probably -EV, but it's close; I don't think you're good 7-8% of the time here. MP3 looks to have the flush (he called 2 on the flop) but even if he doesn't, he has at least 2 pair here (unless he's a complete donk), which certainly beats your 2 pair.

Without a read, I'd probably make a sanity call on the end to see what he's limping preflop and cold-calling the flop with.
