Default Flop Bluff

SB is tag and solid. About 25/18/2.9. UTG is a big lag preflop but quite weak and passive postflop. Button is a lag preflop and postflop.

I see the rationale, as SB probably has a T or pocket pair that he's capable of folding and button (most of the time) has nothing or a pair that he can fold.

I would never think to do this, but I guess it could be correct.

Lol. I did think about that post for a few seconds before acting. That's why I'm posting it to see if I broke my vow.

I think this move has terrible risk/reward ratio.
You'll need to fire more if somebody has KJ, etc

How often do you think it works? All I need is around 20%.

Yes but you could do this FPS when your hand is not a trash like this (like if you had A9 in this hand). Your only chance here is to win uncontested.

A9 will have to play this nearly the same way. Only way he wins at a showdown is vs. SB's KJ that he can check through the river with position.

I just wanted to say that I'd prefer a hand that has outs against a T. (3 outer pair + runner-runner straight in my example)

I don't think many people play a Q this way, and I think everybody thinks the same, so I don't think anyone folds a made hand here. You're going to have to hope they're drawing and that they don't hit their draw or any pair, and bet every street. Yuck.

Guy.
