Default JJ hand

This hand felt kinda fun, but icky for some reason. I'm mostly concerned if this is an easy value bet into two people on the river.

--------------------------------------

Pokerroom 1/2 5 handed

Brady is UTG w/ J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Preflop - Brady raises, CO 3bets, Button calls, SB folds, BB calls, Brady caps, all call.

Flop 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players, 16.5 SB)

BB checks, Brady bets, all call

Turn 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players 11.25 BB)

BB checks, Brady bets, CO folds, Button calls, BB calls.

River 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players 14.25 BB)

BB checks, Brady bets, both call

Final pot 17.25 BB

I think I might check the river, unless you know they're both terrible. CO might have a scared AQ, and you have to wonder what BB has been calling with. If they're really awful, though, go ahead and bet, especially if CO is laggy.

Sorry I forgot to provide reads. Basically no reads, it's only my second orbit, but they all seem to enjoy calling. Not very much raising going on at all by anyone.

I was afraid someone had a scared queen, therefore I wasn't quite sure.

I think it's an easy value bet, actually. Preflop 3bettor folded the turn, button could have coldcalled w/ a lower pocket pair, would probably have raised by now w/ an overpair, BB could have a 9, a 5, a flush draw.

Gah. I missed the CO fold. Don't listen to me. I suck at poker. You played it fine.

I definitely wouldn't call this an easy value bet. I'd say this is a situation where a c/c is much better.

Good reads. Button had TT, and BB had 98 for a pair of nines, and MHIG. The outcome was great, but I was weary if it was actually a really easy value bet. I just needed a little reassurance.

You played it fine. If you're going to call a bet here, you have to bet this. A queen who hasn't raised before now may bet if checked to but anything less than a queen will usually check behind. If it's heads up you can consider checking to induce a bluff against an aggressive player, but no busted draw is betting against 2.
