Default How big a fat slob are you, and why don\'t you exercise?

To be used in conjunction with the height poll. Then an aggregate BMI can be calculated.

BMI is awful. If you lift weights, or have any significant muscle mass, you can throw BMI out the window.

Oh, absolutely. It is a worthless measure even factoring in wide variability in bone density, etc., before you even get to muscle mass. I am not entirely serious.

Your listing for "internet poker pro" is way too low. I don't know a single person who fits under that category who is less than a deuce and a half. I'm sad to say that I had to click "etc" as I am 6'2, 302. That's right, 3 bills. I finally bit the bullet and joined a gym last week.

Yeah, BMI isn't very accurate if you do any weight-training. I'm about 215 now and I exercise 3-4 times a week, 1 hour minimum. I stand about 6'. I don't have a six-pack, but if I start eating a bit better and start making sure I exercise regularly (and stop getting sick), I could by summer (or maybe I'm disallusioning myself). Helps that I'm doing the swimming leg of a half-Iron Man in May.

If you exercise, you'll notice you actually lose weight if you stop. Muscle weighs more than fat.

S'all good.
