Default 5-10 flopped boat at the Bike.........how\'s my line?

ok so i have ~3.5K and a pretty aggressive table image.
i have been raising a lot of pots in position and either taking it down preflop or on the flop.
i'm pretty much bullying the table.

i'm in the BB w/ A4 and the villian in this hand is the button.
he is a decent player, who thinks he is better then he is.
i have him covered, i think he's got around 2K.

four players see the flop of A44 two diamonds.

all check to him, he bets $60, i call, all others fold.

turn comes a black 5.
i lead for $100, he calls rather quickly.

river comes 6 hearts.
i think for a second then bet $400.

comments on all streets appreciated.

ps. i know its not that exciting of a pot, and not that big either, but i'm just curious what line you guys think would have been optimal in this situation.

I really like to get more money in on the flop here, especially given your image (i.e. you may be making a move). the turn and the river are probably straightforward, but getting more money in on the flop wins you a bigger pot.

Play it fast. Bet out for 40 or so on the flop.

If someone has the 4 you are likely to get raised = good.

Het Riverboat, I lead the flop but...

I may check to him on the turn as well - read dependent. If your flop flat call scared him enough to check behind, then value betting the turn is OK - I know you were hoping he'd come over the top there. His quick call is often diamonds, I guess.

Anyway, if he thinks he's that good, he may be arrogant enough to not think twice about your flat call and will fire again on the turn. I like to let these geniuses take the lead as long as possible.

I like the flop check since you're out of position, and need to see if someone with an Ace will pay you off. The turn lead ain't too bad either, because if you check-raise, he might get wise to the fact that you have at least a 4 (esp. since you were BB), or he also may check behind you. However, that river bet seems a little much to me...I dunno...the pot is about $350 right? I guess it all depends on what you want him to think, and how much he is willing to call. How about $250-$300 here...that's enough to look like you might be bluffing, but also enough that he'll be able to call. That's just my plan...interested in another strategies.

hey guys, i'm [censored] tired and i majorly botched the post in a way that i think significantly alters the hand.

the flop was AA4. not A44.

making it much more likely he had an ace.

also in regard to the flat call on the flop, i think it would be very suspicous to him if i flat call the flop and check the turn.

and turnipmonster, i totally agree with you that checkraising or leading at the flop would have been a better way to build the pot.

i was hoping that my bet on the turn would be seen as a blocking bet and the river would be a follow through on my missed flush draw. i was hoping that he had an ace and would come over the top on the turn to protect against the flush draw.

often times players who are very aggressive go into check/call mode it sets off warning bells in observant players.

and this guy was definately observant.

You are tired - Doesn't AA4 make it much LESS likely he has an ace? Anyway, I understand your point nevertheless.

Well alrighty then Now a flop lead or check-raise on the flop is beautiful here. The only way you're getting paid is if someone has the other Ace (hopefully with a decent kicker), or even 44 I guess, so you can check-raise and bet all you want here. Maybe lead the flop, smooth call a raise, and then check raise the turn?? If you don't lead the flop, check-raise the flop and then fire on every street. Hope it worked out for you.
