I disagree on both counts. Hero has 4100, folding 98s in the cutoff after two limpers for 150 would be a mistake IMO.

Then there's nothing wrong w/ calling the raise either, you have position on the raiser and a great hand for cracking a big PP and doubling up.

Anyone agree/disagree?

I agree 100% , I don't think hero had much worries about a tricky raise coming from either the SB or BB. After the Normal Raise Hero was completing the Action in a multi-pot , I can't see a fold her. I would call here about 100% of the time.

You really shouldn't be in this hand, either calling in the first place

Huh, why?

or calling his raise.

Yep, this could be true. I thought immediate and implied odds warranted a call though. If I have to fold the flop, my stack is still competitive.

Thanks-

Why call BTF if you won't play a hand like this on the flop?

You are getting the right price to draw so I'll probably call.
On my good days I'll get there and on my bad days I'll get there only to lose to a bigger flush.

The only thing that bothers me is not knowing if nine of my
outs are clean or not. If we assume that they are clean
outs 2/3's of the time than you have an easy fold on the flop.
