Default Trip Report(brief, Morongo)

Ok,

Saturday night, a friend of mine and hos brother load up in the car for a little drive out to Morongo, we have not been there yet, and Dave's brother is not yet 21. We get there about 8:30 onto to find the listed Poker Room empty, they moved it near the front door, much bigger room that the empty one.

Every table was full, we get on every list (watch a river of a 5/10 NL hand where a guy who flopped queens full and got rivered by 64o loses about 1k on the river)and in 30 minutes I'm in a 3/6 kill, payed there for about an hour before getting called to a 6/12 where I spent the rest of my night. Watching the game progress and remembering what its like to play casino poker, I quickly notice the skill level at even the 6 game was maybe that of a good Party .50-1.

For anyone thinking about playing there, under 21 is ok, which is becoming a smaller group of casinos. The room has quite a few tables, they had all of them open, I have seen many times a busy night, they wont open a few tables because of staffing. I did not notice any major dealer errors(always a bonus), room is non-smoking, you can step out into the casino to smoke, and there is restroom access inside the poker room. Downside(s), the lists were long(computerized, which is nice), there is really no place to wait for your game, they(floor management) often requested people to wait by the door. 10-20 limit was their biggest limit game, for those who play higher, the lighting overhead was spotty, someplaces are very dark based on the lighting direction(mostly in the corner where the 6-12 games are played).

Thats all I can pretty much remember.
