Calling from the SB with any two...
How many limpers do want to see before you call from the SB with any two crappy unsuited cards? Assume a passive BB or clean "he ain't raisin'" read.
Assume structure in which the SB is exactly 50% of the BB. Like this |

You need to specify a structure.

Re: Calling from the SB with any two...
SSH suggests playing any two cards you were going to play from LP plus any two suited cards. Who are we to argue with Miller, Sklansky and Malmuth!! I think you should follow this advise.

Re: Calling from the SB with any two...
7 limpers is enough to get me into the pot with any two; I don't see how anyone can pass on 17:1 odds in that scenario. If my opponents are really bad postflop in addition to being really loose preflop, I'd drop that down to 6 or sometimes even 5 limpers.

Let's say you hold 2 7 offsuit in this multiway pot. What kind of hand will you need to call a bet on the flop? I'd say two pair or better minimum. The odds of doing this are about 3.5%. You need around 28 to 1 odds to see the flop, not taking implied odds into account. Now this early on, the implied odds are a significant factor, but I don't think they're significant enough to turn it into a call. |

[/ QUOTE ] I would say that on any table where there are 7 limpers to you in the SB, you are extremely likely to make up your implied odds and then some should you hit. Also keep in mind that the pot will be large enough to allow you to check/call with 1 pair & try to turn a 5-outer. The same is obviously true for your opponents, though. |

Re: Calling from the SB with any two...
I call any two suited. I call some unsuited. I generally don't call a fair number of unsuited hands even if everyone limps to me.
