Or tables about to start . Nice incentive to start new 6-max tables (or keeping them alive) at the lower limits.

Great job Party !

if it is 2 smart people, then they deserve it for not sitting out. if it is a player and a fish, that rake *should* be coming from him and you should be happy to stay until he is bust.

2 smart players. 2 dumb players. 1 dumb and one smart. Doesn't matter . No one "deserves" it. 10% rake HU or 3-handed is just plain stupid no matter how you cut it (in the long run), even if you are the better player.

I respect your opinions on a lot of matters Granny but this time I just have to disagree.

Party may make a couple of extra bucks on this rake short term but long term, considering the economics of poker (lower limits feeding higher limits and such), I believe Partys relative huge rake at low limits has a bigger impact on higher limits than they care to admit, or understand.

What it does for starting new tables or preserving breaking tables is just horrible.

i think party rake is ridiculous, period.

but at paradise, if this happens and there is a fish and me, i won't leave if he has enough bullets to make it worthwhile. not only will i pay the rake in that situation, but at paradise, i also will endure having the BB on the button. i don't like it, but the fish can't play it properly.

bottom line, if the lone guy has any talent i will leave immediately, if he is a fish, i stay. i do not think that *any* site will program regular table rakes below what you see now. i agree that it sucks tho.
