Re: Fantasy WCOOP Event 3 Results
Glenn thank you oncee again for putting the effort into making this event worthwhile. One small point - it seems unfair that lorinda gets no pts reward to reflect batoelrob's Heads Up event win - what do the others think?
I feel much better about making the forced call that put Lenny out of the 3k FPP event last night - it obviously gave the drive and determination to win the main event. It looks like the top 3 in this event are all well known pro players highlighting the strength in depth at PokerStars. |

Re: Fantasy WCOOP Event 3 Results
Hi Potless,
This is part of an experiment for me. We should have about 400 tournament results from top players by the end of this, so the number will somewhat satisfy my curiousity about how much of an advantage these people actually have. It is not truly the long run, but it is a good sample. Around the half way point and at the end I will post some possibly interesting player statistics. Regarding Lorinda, she did receive points for brob's first place finish which are reflected in the total point standings at the bottom of my post (679.07 to be exact). None of her horses earned any points in the PLO8 event though (which is probably what you were looking at). The field today was tough. I am not at all happy with how I played, but I wasn't ready for people actually playing well given the level of play in the satellites. I did see a few very odd plays by the good players though which I am going to post in the tourney forum when I get a chance (without names). Regards |

Re: Fantasy WCOOP Event 3 Results
Interestingly my picks after 4 events are down less than the buyins for the 3 events whilst I myself have played only 2 events and am down more than twice their average amount.
Potless Currently 0 for 10 in WCOOP events - do I have to play many more before I am due a cash? |

Re: Fantasy WCOOP Event 3 Results
0 for 3 over two years of WCOOP, but amazingly ahead due to selling seats. Maybe there's a hint for me there?

A couple of thoughts
First- i do check in here every once in a while- and was happy to see your confidence in me .
Remarkably- to me- after last years results- there were approx 20 or so lists of players i saw- and yours was the only one that contained me. After the first two events this year- i had cashed in 4 out of 10 WCOOP events. In any case- ive done a great deal of reverse marketing- and im glad to see thats working at least. If you need any reinforcement of that fact- check out the onlinechump's forum. I dont believe the field today was really tough. I saw a lot of strange [censored]- as i always do- and its stopped surprising me. Only a handful of people really understand the game- plain and simple. |

I don't know what you're problem is . I've played with you some and have a positive note, which must mean something since I usually don't make positive notes. Then again I am 1/6 and the one I cashed in was for like $500 so WTF do I know. |

Probably because you are the worst player ever . "In any case- ive done a great deal of reverse marketing- and im glad to see thats working at least. If you need any reinforcement of that fact- check out the onlinechump's forum." Unfortunately, I have checked out OC's forum. I had to when I found out you and bobcards were trolling--eh--i mean--contrubuting. Bob's poll was really funny, I'm surprised they left it up. Only OC would leave that up on his own site. "I dont believe the field today was really tough. I saw a lot of strange [censored]- as i always do- and its stopped surprising me. Only a handful of people really understand the game- plain and simple" Well when I'm one of those people, the field seems tough! Pot-limt? What do you think I am, european? And the weird play people always seem to win tournaments. |
