Default JKs mid stage, good flop.

How could this hand have been played better?
Too timid raises?

Personal thought is betting too small on flop, about okay on turn but never should've went all in on river. Thoughts?

Bet at least 2/3rds the pot on the flop..do you want to be played back at here??

The flat call on the turn IS A BAD SIGN.

Why exactly would you move all in on the river this seems completely out of place for someone who has a huge had...Im hoping and praying this isnt a bet you wanted called. You had 14+ BB left Im either throwing out a blocking bet or check calling a reasonable bet.

I did not want it called, that's the reason for moving in. But it's true, with the call on the turn I should've made a smaller bet or better yet, just checked.

Actually, I read him for a jack with worse kicker, that's how pretty much everyone at the table had been playing up to this point. Also, in my mind he didn't show much strength but you're right that a flat call of 600 is a major warning sign.
I did NOT read him for an overpair at this point, I was very surprised.

If you read him for a Jack worse kicker then why not fire off another 600?? You can bet yur butt he isnt gonna raise that with only a qj or j10 there and if he raises all in you still might be able to get away from the hand here.
