Re: Who has to show first?
So the rule is different in Atlantic City than everywhere else?
I don't know the rules everywhere else. I know at the Borgata whoever acted last must show first. |

Seriously... what is the deal with this
I've never played in a casino before, but in the home games I play in, I literally have to twist some peoples arms off to get them to show their hand before I show mine. Whenever it's my turn to show first, I show as quick as possible so we can get on to the next hand and because that's just how the game is supposed to be played. But others have a constant death grip on their cards and never want to show first. Maybe I should post this question in the psychology forum...

No River Action
In Edmonton we had a big tiff about this last week. 2 guys in no way they'd show before hell froze over.
Lucky the floorman was walking by and said: Last person to show strength (i.e. bet or raise) is the first person to show. Jonathan |

Re: Who has to show first?
This came up again today (well not really; some jackass rivered a miracle winner and declared that everyone had to show starting left of the button, but this was just so he could, after a dramatic pause, present his winning hand like some bad Brett Maverick movie).
Anywho, after the fact I asked the floorman at the Bicycle in LA. It's the same: Whoever initiated last action has to show first. |

Read two of the other responses, evidently we do have the same rules |
