last one I promise - your AJo 50/100 hand 159770, I assume you put him on a draw from his flop line...ok, but is the river raise really +EV there? I'm not trying to sound skeptical, that is an actual question. It just seems too aggro to me - you don't think you're getting him to fold anything that beats you there, right, or do you?

Can we agree that 99 hand 161971 was a bit desperately played? The flop and turn calls I can see, but the river call is just....
I would prefer a c/r there to a c/c.

It's Sweeta man. Sweeta. I would normally 3bet the flop here and bet the turn and check call that river, but I wasn't feeling it that time. For example of how sweeta plays in case you arent' familiar with him:

If he 3bets that turn I have to give some consideration to a cap for value.

hand 163471 with AA - pf sure f sure t sure river...? I prefer a bet to a c/r to a c/c. What was your thought process here?

This player is reasonable postflop and isn't going to miss a bet. On the river, I feel he has either a jack, a queen, a missed draw, or a low pocket pair that won't pay off. Also there's a small possibility that he could have a king or rivered the straight. Anyways, I checked becase I knew he would bet with a queen. So on the river it was between checkraising and checkcalling. I decided he might not always pay me off with a weak queen here and he liked to wait till the river to raise with trips, so I went the check call route. Just a lucky guess maybe.

This one is just an obvious bad play. I expected to see a pair here and the raise is for value, but I really should have just folded the turn.

I know these games are aggro but wow. You raise a K high flop with 9T? Please explain?

The AA hand where you checked river after board of QT942 was very weak in my mind... were you going for a check raise? Thought you may have been influenced by the previous AA hand where the flop came KKJ and the other rockets were out. I don't play this high but seemed like you missed a fairly easy value bet on the end of the 1st one. You might have been raised by AQ and at least called.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think this was a bad spot for the c/r. Hands that would bet the river will often give you action on the flop. While inducing a bluff has some merit people pay off here with a lot.

Other thoughts

<japy> http://www.pokerhand.org/index.php?p...mp;hand=174102 river check sucks
<japy> http://www.pokerhand.org/index.php?p...mp;hand=171677 vvvvv well played

Everything else seems vvvv. well played.
