Hi Mason,

From your query, I take it that you are concerned that I might have a vested interest - a fair enough question. I only know Lee Nelson, whom I met at the poker room here in Crown Casino, Melbourne, Australia. I felt that I was 'qualified' to answer the original poster's question as I have used the Kill Phil strategy in live tournaments. I was initially a cash game only player, until a few months ago, during a conversation about poker, Lee suggested that I should give tourneys a go, and provided me with an early version of the strategy. As a tournament novice, I found the strategy easy to learn and apply effectively. Without being biased, I have to say that utilizing it has brought me up to speed with tournament play fairly rapidly with positive results. It also laid the foundation [certainly for me] for the more advanced concepts discussed in say the Harrington books. So apart from the fact that I am an enthusiastic user of the system, I have no vested interest - financial or otherwise, in promoting the book. I am also a blackjack player, and I find the almost mechanical strategy presentation to be very practical for a beginner [much like basic strategy in blackjack]. Hopefully, this post has allayed your concerns.

Hi pwong_au:

Thanks. Since you had never posted before we just wanted to make sure that you really were posting your opinion.

By the way, I expect to get a copy of Kill Phil in a day or two, and then I'll try to get it read some time in the not too distant future.

Best wishes,
mason

Is anyone actually shipping this book in the near (less than 2 weeks) future?

Amazon is at 12-13 days.
Buy.com doesn't have it
BAMM.com is at 3-5 weeks (just in time for the holidays to be over)

I bought mine some days ago from ebay.

Do a search and see if there are sellers with the book in stock. Good luck

I just ordered it from Amazon and it listed it as "ships within 24 hrs"

Hope that's the case!
