Default Flopped Nuts, Folded Turn, Bad Laydown?

Both players were slightly loose and slightly passive (these are not complete fishes). Neither had done anything unreasonable in the 50 hands I had played with them so I respected their play. The way the hand was shaping up, I didn't think I could get to showdown cheaply and I'm drawing dead if I'm behind. I figured at best I had a split with another AQ and 2 pair. Is this a reasonable laydown?

Why did you check the flop? The preflop indicated to me that those that stayed in wanted to play.

I checked with the intention of raising (which I did).

I think I would have had to see the river on this one. The 10 on the river makes me think I would have folded it there. A boat is definitally out there at that point, but I am not sure that the turn king means we are behind.

Folding on the turn is not a very good play. I would have to see this to the river. When the board paired again on the river, I would have to get out.

No.

MP3 could have boated up on the turn, but he could also still have A/K for trips and a gutshot.

The river board-pair gives a boat to anyone with K/x or 10/x, so fold then.

since you did check with the intention of raising, you were anticipating a check from MP2 and a bet from MP3, having MP2 face 2 cold and probably knocking him out. Was that your intention?

I personally would have just bet/3bet this

i'd find it tough to overcall this 3rd spade, 2 pair river card, even only having to win ~4% of the time - but i'd probably still do it and punch [censored]

Given the likelihood that this flop hit somebody else, you have a chance to make some money, here. Bet out and hope at least one player raises you so you can 3-bet. If both players raise, you cap. You're in the lead, get money in!

Bad turn fold. The way it went, I cap. You are more likely to be up against trips or two-pair than something that beats your straight.

Fold the river if it's more than one to you. You're behind to straight flushes, flushes, and boats at this point.
