Yeah. So you have 22% pot equity on a 11:1 draw. What's the problem with calling? By these numbers, you make about half a SB every time you call here.

just curious - when figuring the equity combined with odds...
don't you need to also assume you're putting in a turn bet as well since the stove calc is pot equity with all board cards showing...

True but your equity is at least half of the 22% then (probably slightly more, around 13%) still making this a fine call.

but our effective odds are much less also...
since after the turn action (assuming the 3rd guy calls) we'd be putting in 1.5 BB to a pot of 8 BB or getting 5.3:1 odds instead of 12:1.

(i'm just trying to think on the screen here)

edit: though we can also dump on the turn i guess, if we don't hit - not sure that factors in appropriately since we're using our final equity to justify a call.

Since I'm on vacation, I dont have my copies of SSHE or HEPFAP. Does anyone have a link to an explanation of calculating all of this?
