Default Studying

For the pros or people in general that play tens of thousands of hands a month: how much time do you spend per week studying? Do you just reread books? Do you have any sort of rotation or schedule? Any tips or advice or strategy that you would like to give would be appreciated.

The information found in MOST of these forums is far more valuable than 9 out of 10 poker books

If i'm going to be playing in a live tournament, or just with a bunch of friends in a basement. I won't reread books. I remember doing that in high school before a test, and i only remembered very little, because i was panicking. Before a game, i will just relax, listen to some classical music (yes yes, shut up... haha) and head on over. No one f**ks with my CHI in live poker...

I am by no means a pro, but I am off from the fire department for 3-4 months with a line of duty injury.....so I am pretending to be one for a while.

My new schedule is..
-wake up around 10 or so..get some food
-log into here and lurk (I dont respond much)
-right now I am studying SSH vs HFAP...so I re-read a section of each in the morning
-play a session around noonish (for about 2 hours)
-take a break from poker for about an hour doing whatever (maybe rub on off )
-another session until the wife is home at 5ish
-hang out until my nightly session
-rinse and repeat

I am interested in what others do along with you

Thanks fireman, this is the kind of stuff I was looking for. By a section do you just mean a chapter or so? Do you read like two chapters a day basically?
