Re: what is partys bad beat jack pot at
wow ive never seen them hit 60,000 before. I don't really like the jackpot structure, but it sure looks like its making a big ole fishing hole at party. Or should I just say bigger.

Re: what is partys bad beat jack pot at
Anyone worked out whether the extra drop (50c?) is it worth it for the presumably looser games?

Re: what is partys bad beat jack pot at
If you go by pot sizes, the jackpot games really aren't that much better, and maybe worse. I play 2/4, and haven't really noticed the jackpot games being fishier.
Keep in mind that Party is the only skin through which you can access the jackpot tables. So many of the fish don't even have the option of playing at them or know they are there. The real question, at least now, is when the extra rake is worth the chance of a big payday. |

Re: what is partys bad beat jack pot at
As I mentioned in another thread...I really don't think the JP is responsible for bringing in all the players.
Their TV spots on CNBC, MSNBC, etc have had some effect. The poker-boom and all the coverage of the WSOP on ESPN has had a huge effect. UB was over 13k tonight and Stars was over 23k. These numbers are probably about 20-30% larger from where they were 3-4 months ago or so. Party is also up by roughly the same percentage from a few months ago. These are just my casual observations btw. Anyone with more accurate figures can feel free to tell me how wrong I am. But I'm pretty sure the other sites are shooting higher as well so I think the BBJ at Party is only marginally responsible for the increased total of players. |
