I played 3-4 shorthanded orbits with this Villain, i was pretty distracted so i didt have any good reads on him, in hands I played with him, he seemed like a very decent player, but is unkown to me.

I'd think he folds often enough to make the BB worthwhile

Is it because of the hearts?

This ia a flop I've been betting and not really liking it. And to make matters worse, I would bet this turn too.

It's hard to successfully value bet your estimated 7 outer (if 1/2 the time you're up against a 4-flush) in a tiny pot. You'll rarely get the calls you need, and rarely get all 3 to fold.

I dont lik the flop bet because better hands here will almost always play back with a defensive raise. It's pretty expensive that way

I'm guessing the flop was more a steal bet than a value bet of your draw....but it's just too easy to get called by one or more players with a board like this.

For instance, many 6-maxers will call you with overcards, flush draws, straight draws, a pair of tens, etc. So your chance to strike out the side goes down considerably, and your safety net (hitting the OESD), is a bit too vulnerable to redraws.

As for the river bet, all you need to do is answer the question what would he call with that you can actually beat?

There are 3BB in that pot. Without a good read, I'm not betting that river.
