or, any other street for that matter. Villain is 33/10 over only 20 hands. I often have trouble finding the balance between charging draws and pot control... this time i obviously chickened out. But by the river this is a clear raise isn't it?

I would raise flop, bet turn, call river. I don't really see a hand that beats you call the river. It looks like villain wanted to see a cheap heart and you felt like accomodating him.

You lost a lot of value here. Raise the flop, pot the turn and 3/4 pot that river. Villain is more afraid of this flop than you. He probably has A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and is hoping to build a small pot for when the 4th [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hits. Instead he ended up with TPTK and will call a reasonable bet on the river.
