Default hey man, slow down, slow down (part 2)

Villain seems pretty reasonable in spite of taking some nasty beats all night. This is the first time i've seen him cap preflop.

Hero has black KK on the button.

3 limpers, Hero raises, Villainous SB 3-bets, BB calls, 1 limper calls, Hero 4-bets, Villainous SB caps, limper calls, BB calls, Hero calls.

Flop (22 SB): K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)

Villainous SB bets, BB calls, limper calls, Hero raises, Villain 3-bets, BB folds, limper folds, Hero calls.

Turn (15 BB): A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

Villain bets, Hero calls.

River (17 BB): J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Villain bets, Hero calls.

I definitely raise the turn, I'm not calling down until I'm 3bet on a big street.

you have the nuts on the flop, why not cap it? Were you planning on c/r the turn?

Why did you just call on the flop?

He called the flop with the intention of raising the turn but the A on the turn scared him because he is putting his opponent on AA or AK.

Actually, on that turn card, AA is 3:2 more likely than AK. I missed that hero didn't keep putting in bets on the flop, which he should, but I change my vote to calling down on that turn card.

Agreed, but he's obviously not scared of AK here.
