Colored screen names

I agree with this...

However, I think that the coloured screen names was a good idea...After all, this forum is a learning resource and although people didn't like the look of the colours...its only a laugh....

For the record, I would hate to see signatures on these forums, for the very reason tony pointed out.

Dynasty asked for suggestions on what would cause another mod tempest, and those things came to mind.

I thought the colored name thing was rather poor from a site-usability standpoint (colored names do mean something, after all). But it was silly and fun for a while.

The only one of those suggestions I made that fits this description is the graemlin thing. Silly and fun for a while to see this mess for a day or two.
