KK hand
Just Started at the table ($25nl) this is my third hand so no reads. I am on button with $25 villian covers. I am dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villian is in Hijack and limps. I raise to $1.50 villian is only caller Flop comes 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
villian checks I bet $3 villianraises to $8 Hero? Of course reads would help a lot but it seems I am getting in this situation quite often and wondering what some of you guys have to think about it.

With no reads, you have to push because of the sheer amounts of people who will overplay AJ and two clubs in that situation. Since villain did not raise nor reraise preflop it would be unlikely he has overs in that situation. Your only worry would be him hitting a set, and I'd be willing to take that chance.

I push villian shows 44 for the set. Been in a slump for a couple thousand hands so I guess i'm doubting simple plays a bit.
