If you go through the player's club it shows 20%--I somehow went through a different portal to get to their casino, but the link you gave does show 100%.

[/ QUOTE ]

Okay, it's probably still good then. In the discussion at BW, a lot of posters indicated that only the homepage was updated with the 100% and the rest of the site said 20%. When I made the $200 deposit, I was only credited with a $40 bonus and had to e-mail to get the remaining $160. It was credited within 20 minutes.

"Deposit - $200
Bonus - $200
Wagering Requirement - $1000 (5 times deposit!)
EV is almost the full $200, maybe $197 or so. Will take you an hour at most with $5 bets."

thanks for the info, Homer, but i'm afraid i don't understand this

are you saying you make 200 $5 bets and you are likely to still have $397 to withdraw?

Likely ain't got nothing to do with it. $397 is just the least-unlikely.

On average, if the house edge was .5% (which is an simplistic over-estimate, it is definitely lower), you should expect to lose $5 over the course of wagering $1000. The fact that your wagering $5 per hand instead of $1 does not lower your EV, it just raises your variance.

When you draw to a flush, you're not likely to make it. The results in a single instance are irrelevant.

Yes. The house advantage for blackjack (if you play optimally) is about 0.5% which means in the long run you should expect to lose $1 for every $200 you make in wagers. For this offer ON AVERAGE you should expect to lose only about $5 of the $200 bonus. Obviously there is variance and the larger you make each bet the greater the variance. Regardless it is near impossible to not make some kind of profit from this offer.

I did this offer yesterday. I made the $200 deposit and was only credited with a $40 bonus (20% instead of 100%). I called the 1-800 number and they fixed it for the full bonus. You will likely have to do the same. They know about the problem but don't seem in a hurry to fix it.
A minor hassle for a great bonus

The expected value is $397 (profit of $197), which on average is how much you'll withdraw. If 100 people did this deal and we took the average cashout, it would be extremely close to $397. You personally may win more or less than that amount, because of standard deviation.

thanks - that's what i thought - apart from in only 200 bets, virtually anything could happen - doubling your money or losing it all being almost equally likely

for the more cautious types, perhaps $1 bets would be "safer" - although i assume there is no auto-play, so Homer is suggesting bigger bets so you don't have to "waste" time - maybe having the bj table open while you play poker and making $1 bets wouldn't be a bad idea?
