Default final hand of main event

Every time I see the final hand (or hear it discussed) I always wonder what would have happened if Williams had gone "all-in" on the turn? Would it have changed anything, or would it have just ended the drama quicker? I believe Raymer bet 2.5 mil on the turn, and williams still had a substantial stack.

If he goes all in there, would it have made a difference?

Did he have enough chips to make a re-raise all-in something that Greg would have to consider, or was there so much $ in there that Greg would have had to call?

It can't be too last month when it is still being aired on ESPN every other hour.

But thanks for your insightful response.

I doubt Greg was folding on the turn to an all-in raise.
