Does it also bother you when someone wishes you a Happy B-Day? It's the sentiment that counts. It's just annoying that the people I hear this from are usually right-wing religious whackos looking for something to be offended about.

Actually sir, x-mas is accepted short form for christmas, would you argue that there is no such word as "can't" or "etc." because they should always be cannot and etcetera? Also, stop taking a dump on the spirit of the thing you are trying to defend, christmas is about togetherness and brotherhood, not semantics. Be gone from this thread, you know neither your place nor yourself.

Mods, can I ask that his last post be deleted and he be kept off this thread? I know he has a right to express himself, but it goes aginst what I was trying to achieve with the thread, and he is slinging insults at me. Thanks. If not then I put the following up for debate:

*?

[/ QUOTE ]

Telling me I know neither myself, nor my place, because I wished you a Merry Christmas, and not a Merry Xmas, is insulting to me. Now go run home and tell mommy and daddy that the big bad internet tough guy is being a meanie. Im done with pandering to you making something out of nothing. To all a good night.
