I don't see what's wrong with this hand?.... What happened, someone flip over 8s full?

Loose-passive types are extremely hard to read, because they could have anything. You can't bluff against them, and it protects them from said bluffs (ie: you'll get caught going to down with AK high if you didn't pair up and someone randomly hit the board). However, in the vast majority of times your hand is good, they'll pay you off.

In short: don't worry about it.

You can't read someone that just calls down, other than by the range of hands that they may have based on their VPIP.

You can eliminate some things that they might fold on the turn or something like that too, but you can't eliminate much.

Not a whole lot you can do. Lose to an 8 or KT?

Does it make you feel better to know that you should have lost a lot more money on this hand (if you did indeed lose)?

A check-raise might have been nice, but with 6, 5, then 4 players, you likely would've whiffed.
