Maybe I'm crazy, but is this really even a remotely difficult choice?

Ivey has said 50x on TV he plays by instinct... I would actually take Prahlad since internet poker is his specialty and has dominated online NL for quite a while (with a lot of variance)...

If they play live, I take Ivey. Internet, I take PF.

Prahlad played Ivey for quite some time and lost 23K. There was a 100K on both tables (most of it Prahlad's buyin). He did not look lost, he switched gears on Phil. It was a tough game for Phil and PF and they both will tell you that, of course this is IMO. Could be wrong. Phil quit the game without saying anything in the chatbox, PF waited for 2 and a half hours and just 5 min after he left Phil came back. I guess they just missed each other. PF was on two othr UB tbls at the same time, mostly HU.

Live ----- I guess Ivey.

Internet ------- Prahlad, no doubt.

Funniest observer quote ......

Obs1:- prahlad has a lot of experience and hands in on the internet.

Obs2:- dude get outta here, dont u know Phil Ivey plays 90 hours a week LIVE!!! He has played enough hands to last Spirit Rock a lifetime.

LOL.

I thought the same thing, but I think we are talking about different people. I'd take SR in a flash given reasonable stacks. seems like he has a lot more big bet experience, and in phil's game stacks are like 50BB for NL. don't get me wrong I think phil is a great player, but SR seems to have dedicated most of his time to high stakes NL. ivey really hasn't.

I have a couple of questions.

Does phil go to UB to play against PF or does PF go to full tilt to play? Can someone tell me Phil's name on UB and PF's name on Full Tilt? thx.

Also, if anyone has being to barry greenstein's website or read his new book, he claims to be the biggest winner in the biggest game in the past 10 years. Also claiming ivey to be the biggest winner in the future.

With that being said, can PF take on greenstein or Chip reese in a NL game?

sr plays at ftp with ivey. they are both playing right now at the 50.

turnip i don't know if i agree with you. ivey had sr playing very weak earlier and had him down around 60k at one point. ivey was potting a lot of rivers and getting sr to fold a lot of big pots.

Prahlad went to FT to play today as Spirit Rock, even though Phil Ivey did come to Pf's tbl at UB as Joe Buttons and make a cameo appearance, for about 5 hands (i think FT wants him to play exclusively there, i might be wrong).

In my opinion solely.Prahlad has logged a ton of hands playing big bet NL (albeit mostly on the net), and has developed quite a reputation. Having said that he can "hold his own" against anyone in big bet NL poker. What turnipmonster said about stack sizes here is very relevant. Don't look at the actual money but more at the BB's. The
Bellagio NL game is capped at a 100K with 4K and 8K blinds, by the way.
