Default Unnatural Act

Did anyone hear/see the referee make that call in the beginning of the Pats game last night where he described the defensive player trying to draw the offensive player offsides as "simulating an unnatural act". Theisman and Company had some fun with that one.

I'll bet the supervisor of official has a little talk with him over that choice of words.

He tried to draw the offense into a false start by faking running at the line (I think).

He did what Dynasty said but that was irrelevant. The funny part was the referee turning on the mike as they usually do and making the announcement that the infraction was "simulating an unnatural act." Paul Mcquire said "what did he just say" and they were all like wtf in the booth.

It's one of those you really had to be there things to find it funny.
