My Party Points expired- should I care?

I went in and played a few hands to try to catch the 3 Billion thing before the expiration deadline and they still cancelled the points, but an email to support got it fixed.

I have about 21K points....

I've been saving them up for something useful. They just added table tops (15K) but I already have a table top.

I'm still waiting/saving.
