Re: PP 100 NL 6 max: Sick and weird action
Someone flopped a set, and unfortunately by the time you found out, you were pot committed.
Bad luck. Played well throughout though. You must call the last 35$ because you're getting 9:1, and there's always the long shot chance that someone has A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and the other K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] or something crazy. |

Why didn't you lead the flop? I don't get it.

Re: PP 100 NL 6 max: Sick and weird action
I didn't lead on the flop because I'm "certain" that one of the other players is going to lead anyways. I hadn't bet on the flop every time I had raised preflop so a check shouldn't look too suspicious. The good thing that can happen is that BB leads with KQ or AQ and CO calls or raises with KK.
I think with that preflop action at least one of them has KK, QQ, JJ, AQ, AJ, KQ, QJ, AK or flush draw to lead with. Actually it doesn't have to be that logical it might go this way also: BB leads with QT, CO calls with Ts9s, going the creative way with a nice connector, then I raise all-in QT calls immediately with top pair thinking: "I have you now, that check-raise move is not scaring me" and CO calls thinking "well, I'm pot committed, if a K or 8 comes I'm gonna win lotsa money". |
