Default Play differently with FH?

Alright. This is 1/2NL and there are about 6 limpers for $2. I have TT on the button. I bet it up to $14 to steal the blinds/I have position.

Flop comes 4TJ rainbow. He checks, I bet $12. He calls.

Turn comes J. He checks, I bet $25 and he takes a long time and calls.

River comes 3. No flush. He waits forever to bet then bets $50. I reraise all in ($125 to go).

He calls and has JJ. Was there anyway that I get away from reraising there? Should I just call? What can I put him on with calling the $14 raise preflop?

This belongs in the smalls stakes forum, but that said, the only hands you're behind on the river are JJ, JT, J4 and J3. Realistically, I only see him having one of those, unless he's really loose and wanted to see a flop with JT.

I would go broke in this situation, but of course, I suck.

Also, why the underbet on the flop?

Sorry about poor placement of the thing. Essentially, rainbow flop, only could be drawing open ended. I wanted him in at that point.

On the turn i figured he could be on the jack. So i sorta threw him a rope. Really put him on a really loose preflop call with AJ? KJ? Better preflop call with QQ? who knows.

I know what hands beat me, but i see no reason to not push here. Seems like 99/100 i have him beat considering the preflop raise.

I don't mean to be rude, but why are you asking for advice if you are sure that you played the hand correctly?

You did fine. The hand was too strong too just call.

Smaller FH or a Jack if he's solid.

#1, id say the only time you get away from this hand without reraising river is if you see your opponents cards.

#2 bet flop stronger.

Honestly, I am trying to see if anyone had any insight on how i could control my losses there. I had like 4 of those hands happen (not quite that bad) in a row. I'm trying to see if there is anyway to play it better.

You played it fine, if anything you should have been more aggressive. If you start laying down hands like this you are playing scared poker.

I would've mucked face up and said "nh, your quads are good." Tough break, newjack.
