Default Welcome Lurkers

I'm putting this thread up to provide lurkers with an oppotunity to introduce themselves to the HUSH forum.

There are probably many of you out there who have acquired an overstock of knowledge just reading different posts and replies. I'm sure you guys have a lot to offer, and nobody likes to be the new guy responding with only 3 posts.

As someone who was in your shoes only about 2 months ago, I can honestly say that reading is only half the battle. Sometimes, students make the best teachers and teachers make the best students. You will be amazed at how much you can learn about poker by submitting your own posts and replies.

So, if you feel like stepping up to the plate and introducing yourself, this is the time to do it. Tell us how long you've been around (registered or not) and what limits you play or anything else you'd like.

Thanks and Good Luck,
Our House

Is this intended to inspire them to start posting or to chase them away?

Hi, my name is Guruman and I'm a HUSH lurker.

[waves]

I usually post over a at the micros and I play at 1/2 (just took a shot at 2/4 and got beat down)

i'm about 5k hands into my shorthanded experience and I'm loving every moment of it. Great games, more action, worse players, faster bonii, and I get to reraise ATo sometimes. Wow, this is fun.

Now all i need is some more good literature, and I'm set for a while.

(just fyi, ignore me when I post because I still suck)

Hey- Been lurking SS and mid/high for a long time, and HUSH for a couple weeks. I'm a non-traditional (old) engineering student living off poker winnings. I'm mainly at 5/10 full, quad tabling, and I want to get comfortable with 6max before I move up much further, so I've been lurking here and mixing in about 250 hands of 2/4 6max a day. I've also been trying out the micro HU tables to get a feel for that. I find 2+2 to be extremely helpful, but it is also a tough nut to crack as far as becoming part of the community. It obviously takes thick skin to fit in, which I have, but it also feels weird to post a reply offering advice when you have no posts, so it is difficult to get started. I'm sure there are a ton of potential posters who feel this way, and will probably always be lurkers.

So thanks for the invitation; I will make an effort to contribute.

postcount++

I'm relatively new to HUSH, but have been posting in the Micros for quite a while. I don't post much here because 1/2 and 2/4 hands don't get many replies. I'm looking forward to the forum split.

[shameless plug] For other lurkers and/or micro players, check out this thread for a chance to review another player's hands and have your own reviewed as well. [/shameless plug]
