There's some real truth in that. When you leave the sheltered confines of the college campus, you realize how broad the spectrum is for "attractive". Most of these "fugly" posters are likely in high school and college.

There is natural beauty in youth and college overflows with it. Until you get out in the real world where instead of seeing 17-22 year olds every day, it's 25-60 year olds every day, you really don't realize how narrow your view of "attractive" was.

Right on the the head. Evelyn Ng is Asian, and that's enough for most. That makes it OK to disregard the fact she's not even above average.

Annie Duke? Are you freaking serious? You tell me that you would ever pick her out of a crowd of 50 random women and say "Yes, she is the best." or "Yes, she is in the top 5." Top half, maybe. If she's showered.
