SNL is still on? Wasn't it cancelled like 5 years ago?

Scissor Sisters.

I've heard some of their stuff- it's actually pretty good. Staggeringly gay, but if you do for that, it's entertaining.

it's interesting that comfortably numb worked so well as a disco song. i guess it would work as country or whatever too, but it depends on the quality of the cover. i'm not generally a fan of covers but i think their interpretation of it was pretty respectable and it didn't seem to be a joke to them (in the way that, say, smooth criminal was a joke to alien ant farm).

if you want to look up a band, allmusic and pitchforkmedia are excellent sources. here's what they've got on them:

Well, it was a joke to me.

I am a huge, huge Pink Floyd fan. Hearing those cretins take a dump on one of my favorite songs almost made me physically ill.

Everybody knows that if you're going to do a disco cover of a song off The Wall, it should be Run Like Hell. I mean, it already sounds like a disco tune anyway.

But, to each his own.

Are you referring to the musical guest? Or the no-longer-funny cast?
