Default three starting days == three chances to start?

with three starting days, i wonder if there'll be any instances of someone busting out on day 1A or 1B and then trying to buy in as an alternate for the remaining day(s).

OK, so, compromise: they should be allowed to re-enter as an alternate on one of the other "first days", but the re-entry fee is 7.5 million dollars.

God damn, I am MINUTES ahead of my time.

Since you need a WSOP players card to buy in, wouldn't that make it a bit harder to re-enter the main event?

You need to buy in before the start of the first day. There is no way to buy in on the 8th or 9th.
