i think you have to fold the turn getting 4/1. i dont think you make up the difference on the river.

The thing is, the way he played it seems like I'm either up against a monster or some weak pair like 77-99. I've got alot of outs vs that second set of hands, and I might even be able to see a showdown for free, robbing the occasional QJ.

I really don't know if I'm right about this, it's just what was running through my head when I made the call. The turn call definitely feels weak to me.

This is how i see it and i am by no means right. You have 3 K's and 4 7's to make the best hand imo. granted a k loses you a few bets on the river if he has a monster, but if he has 77-99 then your outs are all messed up, vs 99 you have 3 outs and vs 77 you have 3. The way you played it i dont see you getting a free river enough even when he has QJ, but if he does your getting nothing more out of him.

Good point with the outs. I didn't think that through enough.

Yea, that turn call sucked.

It looks like he tried to c/r you on the flop, and failing that, took a direct swing on the turn. Either way, your king is probably not good, unless you see him 3-betting pre-flop with K7 or 43s.
