Odds of NY Giants making the playoffs

(I posted this same post in the sports betting section, but i thought i'd put it here as well to maximize the total feedback.)


Right now, what do you think would be the right/fair odds payout to someone who bets that the Giants miss the playoffs and is correct?

I'm a giants fan and i have friend who is putting me to the test. What do you think are the fair market odds?

Please, if possible, walk me through the math you used to arrive at your final result.
