I think I'd bet and call a raise if the LP folds and the lag raises. I'm specifically targeting a real loose passive here.

just call. This is one of those retard bets from a laggy opponent that you have to pay off getting over 8-1. Riasing is bad for obvious reasons.

I don't think the reasons are obvious given the caller behind him and the likelihood that his hand is good. not that I'd raise, but I'd have a hard time arguing with him if he did

The caller behind him is the reason raising is bad IMO. He will never fold a better hand, and I'm hard pressed to see him call 2 unless he has a better hand, but he will call 1 with lots of hands, so its a pretty easy go for the overcall situation.

I don't like the raise. This could be an obvious donkbet, or that suckout who made the 2pair on the river. For the other reasons pointed out, a raise is bad as well: the guy behind you might call for 1 bet, but is likely to fold for 2, and then the extreme end of things, the guy behind you might 3-bet with some super slow played set or such. A call here is likely going to net you the same as if you raise and are called by 1 person, but without the risk of actually losing to a better hand and losing that extra bet.
