Default NL in Vegas?

I'm going to be in Vegas the middle of next month and plan on playing quite a bit of NL; just wanted to ask folks who live out there or are otherwise familiar with most of the poker rooms and the games they spread for some feedback on where to play. I imagine most places certainly run 1-2 blind games; are they generally capped buy-in games, at $2-$300 or so? I usually like to play deeper stack NL, are there any 1-2 games with no max buy-in? What about any casinos running 2-5 and 5-10 NL games, and if so, are those capped buy-in or no max? Thanks in advance on any info.

I believe they are all capped.

i just got back from vegas. i was there for 10 days. The Palms has a great NL game. the blinds are 2/5, although, the buyin IS capped at $500, but, its larger than most others cap. all it takes is one all in and double up to get a nice deep stack. the game was VERY soft too. they have two rooms right next to each other. one room has only 2/5 NL with about 5-7 tables. the other room is the same size with 2/4 and 4/8 kill games running. def check out the NL at palms. the scenery is awesome on the weekends too, if you catch my drift

That's a pretty good structure, the eye candy would be a plus too, but the Palms is kinda on the outskirts isn't it? I'll likely be staying on the Strip, any similar 2-5 $500 buy-in games within walking distance (or rather, within drunken staggering distance)?

Most of the games have what you will consdier to be a small cap, with the exception of the Bellagio game. So here it goes:

palms
excalibur ($100 cap)
flamingo
Bally's
sahara
stardust

The Horseshoe downtown, has a $100 min, no cap low blind NL game, so I was told today.

I'd suggest wading into it at Excalibur or Luxor first... if you can't do well there, I wouldn't try higher....

I am 2 fer 2 at Luxor $50 min/max NL....
