Re: Aces help
[ QUOTE ]
Maybe I'm weak tight, but I give up after the turn bet and check the river. I think the only hand that calls you on the end that you are ahead of is K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Kx [/ QUOTE ] I don't think this is a bad beat post and I understand your question. I agree witht the above poster that if your gonna get away from this hand it's after the turn. You are definitely beat now, and it's just a metter of having the discipline to chuck your aces. yabsatid |

Re: Aces help
I would never even think about laying down AA in a $6 turbo. With blinds and action so fast you have a ideal situation vs one opponent with the best hand in Holdem. If you lose you lose, cant really see how u played the hand badly maybe a larger raise pre flop as others have suggested. The counter argument there would be, you want action and dont want to just pick up the blinds with AA

Result
Here is the actual end of the hand:
Hero has As Ad (one pair, aces). MP1 has 9d 7h (straight, jack high). Outcome: MP1 wins t2810. Hero wins t125. I gave him a big smile and a "nh". J |

Re: Result
Nothing like getting called pre-flop with a 7 9 off.
I like the idea presented earlier about changing your pre-flop raise for every caller that comes before you. Although before knowing that my pre-flop raise would have been the same. After the call of such a big bet on the flop I think I Check/Fold the turn and the river. |

Which is why you raise more preflop. 100 doesn't do a damn thing here. [/ QUOTE ] He got heads-up with a worse hand. What better result could he have hoped for? |
